Apply for or Renew a Senior Pass - Am I eligible?

You can qualify for a senior pass if you have reached the state pension age and are a permanent resident of West Yorkshire.

Apply for a Pass

You can apply for your pass 28 days before you reach state pension age

To apply online, you will need:

  • An email address (one email address per account, you cannot open multiple accounts with the same email address)
  • A passport style photo to upload from your computer, tablet or smartphone
  • A valid UK passport or driving licence (so that we can verify your age)

Renew Pass

You can renew your pass 28 days before it is due to expire

To renew your pass online, you will need:

  • An email address (one email address per account, you cannot open multiple accounts with the same email address)
  • A passport style photo to upload from your computer, tablet or smartphone
  • The number from your current senior pass, or a valid passport or driving licence (so that we can verify your age)

Applying on behalf of someone else?

You can apply online for a friend or relative by creating an account in your name and then adding them as a dependent.

Other Ways to Apply

If you can’t apply online, you can apply at a Bus Station Travel Centre. You will need to take proof of identity and date of birth (eg. passport or driving licence) and proof that you are a resident of West Yorkshire (such as a bill showing your address).

After you apply

Your pass will be posted to your home address.  Please allow 5 working days to receive it.
