Mybus Primary Engagement 2023 - Service P44

Following the recent engagement on school bus service P44, having considered all the feedback received, the service will be withdrawn at the end of the current academic year. 

We hope that while this may not be the outcome you wanted, we can assure you we have carefully considered the amount of feedback received and support expressed for continuing the service.  

Facing ongoing budget pressures and the need to ensure value for money for local Council Taxpayers, we have also had to consider the level of use for the service and amount of public subsidy per passenger trip, the availability of subsidy by your district council and the public transport alternatives available.  

We have tried to find a constructive solution to this issue and if a way of meeting the gap in funding is found, we would be in a position to reconsider the decision.
