Arriva Yorkshire industrial action suspended from Saturday 2 July. Bus services will resume from Saturday

UPDATE 30 June 2022 - Arriva Yorkshire have informed us that the industrial action will be suspended from Saturday 2 July. Bus services will resume on Saturday 2 July. Timetable and journey planning information can be found online at


 Industrial Action details from Monday 6 June to Friday 1 July:

  • Arriva will be unable to run bus services across Wakefield, Dewsbury, Castleford, Pontefract, Heckmondwike, Cleckheaton, Bradford, Leeds, Ossett, Batley, Morley, Rothwell, South Elmsall, Hemsworth, Huddersfield, Halifax, Doncaster, Selby, York and Goole during industrial action.



  • All Arriva pre-paid tickets will be accepted on First Bus & Transdev buses


  • We are sorry for those inconvenienced by the industrial action currently taken by staff at Arriva Yorkshire. If you have a valid Arriva ticket and wish to seek refunds, please contact Arriva directly Contact Us | Arriva Bus


  • Free shuttle bus service between Wakefield Bus Station and Pinderfields Hospital will operate. Timetable available here - 111 timetable



We are sorry that the current industrial action is affecting MCard customers.  We are in regular dialogue with Arriva and are encouraging them to establish a resolution to the industrial action as soon as possible. 

Under our normal terms and conditions, customers who have unused tickets or part used monthly tickets may be eligible to claim a refund or part refund.
