Vaisakhi Parade, Chapeltown Road and Leeds City Centre on Saturday 20 April 1000 to 1800 - rolling road closures

There will be no diversions to service but some delays are expected.

  • Parade route towards Leeds City Centre (1000-1400 hours)

The Parade will assemble outside the Sikh Temple at Brandon Way and proceed along Brandon Way, Chapeltown Road, Newton Road, Harehills Lane, Avenue Hill, Harehills Avenue, Chapeltown Road, Sheepscar Street South, Regent Street, Eastgate, The Headrow, Cookridge Street into Millennium Square, where a celebration will be held.

  • Parade Return Route¬† (1530-1800 hours)

On completion of the celebration the Parade will return to the Sikh Temple at Brandon Way, via Portland Crescent, Portland Gate, Cookridge Street, Clay Pit Lane and Chapeltown Road.
