The Shay Stadium Halifax
The MBI Shay Stadium is the home of both the Halifax RLFC rugby league team and FC Halifax Town football team. The stadium is to the south of Halifax Town Centre.
By bus
From Halifax bus station there is a regular bus service to Skircoat Road the main road near to the ground. The following services stop outside the ground:
The Skircoat Road at Hunger Hill bus stop is the nearest to the ground.
There are regular services from Elland (501, 537) and Huddersfield ( 501, 537) that stop opposite the ground on Skircoat Road at the Heath Road bus stop.
By train
Halifax rail station is the nearest to the ground and trains operate on the Calder Valley Line timetable from Blackpool, Bradford, Huddersfield, Manchester and York.
Service 561 also operates from Stop 5 Horton Street near to the rail station to Shaw Hill outside the ground. The journey takes approximately 5 minutes. The stadium is a 10 minute walk from the rail station along South Parade and Shay Syke.
