Service 933

These changes were designed to enhance one of the routes and to improve value for money by not operating poorly used journeys.

The service continued to be operated by K-Line.

The key changes to the service included:

• The Sunny Heys/Golcar Brow route being split into two separate routes to reduce the length of time passengers from Sunny Heys were on the bus to Meltham.
• The Helme route was withdrawn. Service 388 (Meltham- Huddersfield Royal Infirmary via Helme) already covered this route.
• Additional journeys on service 388 were introduced at 0900 from Meltham to Helme and at 0907 from Helme to Meltham on Mondays to Fridays.
• The Highfield route would be operated as an extension of the shortened Sunny Heys route.
• The last Sunny Heys and Mill Moor Road journeys on Mondays to Fridays were poorly used and were withdrawn.
• The early morning Saturday service which started an hour earlier than on Monday to Fridays was poorly used and was withdrawn.
• The advance booking facility for 'on demand' diversions off the normal route was withdrawn, and any requests for such diversions were to be dealt with by the driver on the day.
