Since it's launch in September 2005, Metro's yournextbus system has been a big success.

It is now the most used bus real time information system in the country.  Every day we receive over 3,400 text messages and a further 1,400 visits to the web and WAP sites.

Metro has already received well over 2 million 'enquiries' to the yournextbus system, and usage is still on the increase as more and more bus passengers begin to understand the benefits of using yournextbus.

It's not just passengers that have benefited from the system, the bus operators involved in the project have also used the products to analyse their bus services in real time and to make changes to those services where they can, in order to improve punctuality and reliability.
