Owing to engineering work between Peterborough and Grantham throughout June, East Coast and Grand Central will operate a heavily reduced timetable to and from London King’s Cross with some services diverted between Doncaster and Peterborough via Lincoln.
East Coast's West Yorkshire services
Saturdays
The last direct service from Leeds to London will depart at 1305 from Leeds, but this will take an alternative route between Doncaster and Peterborough and will arrive significantly later into London.
From London the last direct service to Leeds will be at 1135. A further direct service will operate at 1603, but will operate via an alternative route between Peterborough and Retford and will arrive significantly later at stations north of Doncaster
For the remainder the day, all services to and from Leeds will terminate at Newark North Gate with a connecting replacement coach service between Newark North Gate and Grantham for onward train connections to London King’s Cross.
Sundays
From Leeds, the 0805 and 0905 Leeds to London journeys will take an alternative route between Doncaster and Peterborough and will arrive significantly later into London.
After 0905, journeys will operate direct to London via Newark Northgate and Grantham; however, the next journey will be at 1105 which is retimed to depart Leeds later at 1115.
From London, the 0903 London to Leeds journey will be retimed to depart at 0930, will take an alternative route between Peterborough and Doncaster and will arrive significantly later into Doncaster, Wakefield and Leeds.
The next journey to Leeds will be at 1103, which will operate direct via Grantham and Newark Northgate
From 1200 for the remainder the day, the normal Sunday timetable operates.
Grand Central's West Yorkshire services
Saturdays
The 0651 and 1022 from Bradford Interchange to London King’s Cross journeys will operate normally.
The 1522 Bradford Interchange to London King’s Cross journey is retimed to depart and operate up to an hour earlier between Bradford and Doncaster as follows: Bradford Interchange depart 1424, Halifax 1437, Mirfield 1457, Wakefield Kirkgate 1513, Pontefract Monkhill 1534 and Doncaster 1557. Arrival time in London is unchanged at 1845.
The 1048 London King’s Cross to Bradford will operate normally but the rest of the day's departures will operate an hour later between Doncaster and Bradford Interchange as follows:
1548 from London King’s Cross, Doncaster 1846, Wakefield Kirkgate 1908, Mirfield 1920, Brighouse 1928, Halifax 1938, arriving Bradford Interchange at 1952.
1923 from London King’s Cross, Doncaster 2222, Pontefract Monkhill 2245, Wakefield Kirkgate 2303, Mirfield 2315, Brighouse 2324, Halifax 2335, arriving Bradford Interchange at 2349.
Sundays
The 0758 from Bradford Interchange to London King’s Cross will arrive at 1155. The 1200 and 1600 Bradford Interchange to London King’s Cross journeys will operate normally.
The 1150 from London King’s Cross to Bradford Interchange will be retimed throughout, departing London King’s Cross at 1240, Doncaster 1420, Wakefield Kirkgate 1442, Mirfield 1457, Brighouse 1505, Halifax 1516, arriving Bradford Interchange at 1529. The 1550 and 1923 London King’s Cross to Bradford Interchange journeys will operate normally.
