    • Bradford City Centre - Bradford City FC Victory Parade (Bradford)

      On Wednesday 22 May between 6pm and 8pm, various services across Bradford City Centre will be disrupted due to the Parade.

      Services normally operating to and from the City Centre via Cheapside, Westgate, Sunbridge Road and Thornton Road will divert via Godwin Street, Prince’s Way and Hall Ings.

      Services normally operating to and from City Centre via Valley Road, Canal Road, Bolton Road and Church Bank will be diverted via Shipley Airedale Road and Leeds Road.

    • Brow Lane, Northowram, closed

      Service 534

      Brow Lane at Shibden from Brow Lane Farm to No 6 Brow Lane is closed, as the roadway has collapsed.

      Service 534 is diverting from Godley Lane via Bradford Road, Newlands Grove, Northowram Green to Towngate. Kell Lane will be unserved.

      There is no estimate for when the roadway will be repaired..

    • Castleford Bus Station

      All services that use the bus station

      For six weeks from Monday 11 March 2013, archaeological digs will be taking place at the Castleford Bus Station. These digs are a critical part of the project to build the new bus station.

      To enable these digs to take place the plan is that bus stands will need to close one row at a time. Details below:

      Beginning with stands A1-A3, currently layover stands, and will take two weeks to complete.

      Secondly stands B1-B4. When these stands are closed all services will move to stands A1-A3 for weeks. This should take four weeks to complete.

      Thirdly stands C1-C4 will be closed and all services to be moved to stand B1-B4 for three weeks.

      Finally stands D1-D4 will then be closed and all services will be moved to stand C1-C4 for two weeks.

      Security and customer support staff will be on hand in the bus station to assist customers whilst this work is taking place.

    • East Keswick - MainStreet

      X99

      22/05/2013

      On Friday 24 May, Main Street in East Keswick will be closed to buses between 9.30am and 11am while resurfacing takes place.

      During this time, service X99 will divert via the route of the X98 on the A58 Wetherby Road, between Bardsey and Wetherby.

      Although road closure signs will be in place until 3.30pm, it is expected that that buses will be able to use the normal route from 11am.

    • Halifax - Water Lane (Calderdale)

      Services 541, 542 and 555

      From Monday 29 April until Friday 31 May, services operating along Water Lane will be disrupted due to bridge repair works.

      Services 541 (Evenings and Sundays) and 542 will divert towards Siddal from Hunger Hill Road then via South Parade, Church Street, Square Road, Church Street, Berry Lane, Bailey Hall Road, Swan Bank Lane, Siddal New Road then via normal route. Returning to Halifax via reverse of above route to Prescott Street then via normal route to Halifax Bus Station.

      Service 555 towards Siddal will operate from Horton Street via Square Road, Church Street, Berry Lane, Bailey Hall Road, Swan Bank Lane, Siddal New Road then via normal route. Returning to Halifax via reverse of above route to Horton Street and Union Street.

    • Heptonstall Towngate

      Service E

      Emergency road works to restore power to local houses in Towngate near the White Lion mean restricted access for bus services between Hebden Bridge and Blackshaw Head.

       

      Services to/from Blackshaw Head after 1530 hours may be suspended at times during the excavation works as contractors are working to find the cable in the narrowest section.

       

      Buses cannot use Lee Wood Road as it is closed due to an earlier landslip.
      First bus have officers on site checking safety for buses operating through Towngate

      Services from Halifax to Heptonstall are not affected – just services that operate beyond to Blackshaw Head

      School services from Calder High to Blackshaw Head and beyond will be allowed through the road works as works are being suspended until 1530 hours.

      The effects of these road works may extend into Saturday morning.

    • Hunslet - Hunslet Road (Leeds)

      Services 12, 13, 13A, 110, 167, 168, 189, 410, 444 and 446

      From Monday 20 until Friday 31 May between 8pm and 6am the following morning, services from Leeds will be diverted via Chadwick Street, Chadwick Street South and Sayner Road due to roadworks. Services into Leeds will operate as normal.

    • Savile Town - Headfield Road (Kirklees)

      Service 130

      13/05/2013

      Headfield Road, Savile Town will be closed for roadworks from Tuesday 14 May until Monday 3 June.

       

      Bus service 130 will operate as service 128 via Savile Road.

    • Wortley - Dixon Lane (Leeds)

      Service 38

      10/05/2013

      From Sunday 19 May until Monday 17 June, between 9.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 5pm on Sundays, services between Five Lane Ends and Ringways will be diverted via Lower Wortley Road and Ring Road Lower Wortley due to roadworks.
