Train travel in West Yorkshire

Nearly 30 million train journeys are made in West Yorkshire each year, and Metro is working in partnership with local operator Northern and with Network Rail to provide:

• expansion of park and ride opportunities;
• new stations, such as those planned for Kirkstall, Apperley Bridge, Low Moor and Horsforth Woodside;
• improved waiting facilities and new staffed ticket offices such as those at Shipley, Horsforth, Guiseley and New Pudsey stations.
