Metro, along with Northern Rail, developed a programme of works for small scale improvements at Batley, Burley Pak, Featherstone, Fitzwilliam, Headingley, Marsden, Mirfield, Mytholmroyd and Streethouse stations to provide a significant improvement in the general appearance and quality of facilities and improving the public's perception of local rail stations.
