Well over 315,000 English National Concessionary Passes have now been sent out and Metro is processing around 5,000 new applications each week.

Metro is also working through 2,000 outstanding applications where the sending out of Passes has been delayed by application form issues such as incorrect postcodes being supplied and people not signing them.

People waiting for their new Pass to arrive have been able to use their existing Metro Senior, Disabled Person's or Blind Person's Permit for free travel in West Yorkshire.
