With the school summer holidays getting underway, Metro is
reminding passengers of the great money-saving tickets on offer for
use on almost any bus or train service in West Yorkshire,
regardless of the operator.
Metro Family DayRover, priced at £10.30, can be used on
buses and trains throughout West Yorkshire by groups of up to five
people. That could be two adults and three children/Metro
concessions, one adult and four children/Metro concessions or even
just two adults.
Adult Bus & Train DayRover and Adult Train-only DayRover,
costing £7.10 and £6.40 respectively, are also
available.
DayRover is valid after 9.30am on weekdays and all day on
weekends and Bank Holidays.
If travelling by bus before 9.30am Monday to Friday, ask the driver
for an Adult MetroDay or Half MetroDay ticket. These cost
£5.20 and £2.60 respectively and allow the holder to
travel all day on almost all of the county's bus services. Half
MetroDay is available to anyone aged 5-11years, 11-16 year olds
with a Metro Young Person's PhotoCard and 16-18 year olds with a
Metro Scholar's PhotoCard.
