    May Holiday services on bus and rail in West Yorkshire, Saturday 2 to Monday 4 May, and Saturday 23 to Monday 25 May 2015

    Tour de Yorkshire

    After the successful Tour de France Grand Depart, the first Tour de Yorkshire takes to the region’s streets on Friday 1, to Sunday 3 May.

     

    Stage 3 is in West Yorkshire on Sunday 3 May 2015 when stage 3 takes place. Additional rail services and bus disruptions.

    May Day Holiday weekend

    Bus services

    Remember to double-check all your bus journey details using the Journey Planner.    

    Saturday 2 May

    Normal service will be in operation. Services 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam and 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop will also run. 

    Sunday 3 May

    Normal service will be in operation and services 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam and 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop will also run. 

     

    Summer DalesBus services will also be reintroduced.

    Monday 4 May - May Day

    Sunday service will be in operation. DalesBus and services 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam and 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop will also run.  

    Elland Road Park and Ride

    No service on Saturday 2, Sunday 3 and May Day - Monday 4 May.

     

    Train services

    Remember to check all your train journey details using the National Rail Enquiry Journey Planner (opens in a new window).  

    Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May:

    Normal services will be in operation with additional services on the following routes for the Tour de Yorkshire:

    • Saturday 2 May
      • Leeds and Selby
       
    • Sunday 3 May
      • Leeds - Sandal & Agbrigg
      • Bradford Forster Square - Ilkley
      • Some Leeds to Carlisle / Morecambe services will also call additionally at Steeton & Silsden.
       

    On both day, coaches will replace trains between Manchester Victoria and Rochdale / Ashton-under-Lyne due to engineering work.  

    Monday 4 May

    Normal Monday service except Virgin Trains East Coast will operate an hourly service between West Yorkshire and London. 


     

    May Spring Bank Holiday weekend

    Bus services

    Remember to double-check all your bus journey details using the Journey Planner.    

    Saturday 23 May

    Normal service will be in operation. Services 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam and 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop will also run.

     

    Summer Transdev Yorkshire Coastliner services will also be reintroduced.

    Sunday 24 May

    Normal service will be in operation. DalesBus and services 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam and 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop also running 

     

    Summer service 812 between Haworth and Brontë Parsonage will also be reintroduced.

     

    No bus services will serve the bus stops at Leeds Rail Station until 1800 due to rail replacement coaches operating from Leeds Rail Station.

    Monday 25 May - Spring Bank Holiday

    Sunday service will be in operation. DalesBus, services 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam; 812 between Haworth and Brontë Parsonage and 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop will also run.   

    Elland Road Park and Ride

    No service on Sunday 24 and Spring Bank Holiday Monday - Monday 25 May.

    Train services

    Saturday 23 May

    Normal services will be in operation.

    Saturday 24 May

    Normal services will be in operation except due to engineering work, coaches replace trains:

     

    •  Until 1600, due to major engineering work outside Leeds Station, on routes between:
      • Leeds, Bramley, New Pudsey and Bradford Interchange
      • Leeds, Outwood and Wakefield Westgate
      • Leeds, Leeds, Cottingley, Morley, Batley, Dewsbury, Ravensthorpe, Mirfield, Deighton and Huddersfield.
       
    • Until 1200, between Appleby and Carlisle.

    Monday 25 May

    Normal Monday service except Virgin Trains East Coast will operate an hourly service between West Yorkshire and London.
