    Leeds Festival 2015

    From Friday 28 until Sunday 30 August, the Leeds Festival will be held at Bramham Park.

    Local bus services during the festival
    Local bus services in the Cross Gates, Scholes, Thorner, Tadcaster and Wetherby areas are subject to delays between Wednesday 26 and Monday 31 August due to the increased traffic levels during the festival. Full details of any diversions, and details of bus services affected over the Leeds Festival will be available in Bus Alerts.

    Saturday 29 August

    Normal service will be in operation. The following services will also run:

    • Service 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam
    • Service 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop

    • Service 951 between Huddersfield and Glossop.

    Sunday 30 August

    Normal service will be in operation. The following services will also run:

    • DalesBus services
    • Service 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam
    • Service 812 between Haworth and Stanbury
    • Service 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop
    • Service 951 between Huddersfield and Glossop.

    Bank Holiday Monday 31 August

    Sunday service will be in operation. The following services will also run:

    • DalesBus services
    • Service 10 between Leeds and Temple Newsam
    • Service 812 between Haworth and Stanbury
    • Service 906 between Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge and Widdop
    • Service 951 between Huddersfield and Glossop.

    Elland Road Park and Ride

    No service on Sunday 30 and Bank Holiday Monday 31 August.

    Saturday 29 August

    Normal services will be in operation. Virgin Trains East Coast will run the following additional journeys:

     

    Magna Carta 800 celebrations in Lincoln

    • 0657 Leeds to Lincoln - calling at Doncaster (0743) and Lincoln (0838)
    • 2020 Lincoln to Leeds - calling at Doncaster (2104) and Leeds (2144)

    Rugby League Challenge Cup Final at Wembley

    • 0815 Leeds to London King’s Cross - calling at Wakefield Westgate (0830), Doncaster (0902 - pick people up only) and London King’s Cross (1053)
    • 1903 London King’s Cross to Leeds - calling at Doncaster (2035),  Wakefield Westgate (2102 - letting people off only) and Leeds (2129).

    Grand Central changes due to Rugby League Challenge Cup Final
    Grand Central will be making the following changes to their services between West Yorkshire and London King's Cross:

    • 1548 London King's Cross to Bradford Interchange - this service will not run
    • 1923 London King's Cross to Bradford Interchange - this service will not call at Pontefract Monkhill due to having additional carriages. The service is also retimed as follows:
      • 1923 London King’s Cross to Bradford Interchange - calling at Doncaster (2052), Wakefield Kirkgate (2115), Mirfield (2127), Brighouse (2135), Halifax (2146) and Bradford Interchange (2159).
       

    An additional journey will operate at 2005 from London King's Cross to Bradford Interchange calling at Doncaster (2151), Pontefract Monkhill (2214), Wakefield Kirkgate (2231), Mirfield (2243), Brighouse (2251), Halifax (2302) and Bradford Interchange (2315). 

    Sunday 30 August

    Normal services will be in operation, except for all day engineering work:

    • Virgin Trains East Coast will run a reduced service between West Yorkshire and London, with some journeys operating to and from Peterborough or Doncaster only.
    • Grand Central will not run the following journeys:
      • 1600 Bradford Interchange to London King's Cross
      • 1845 London King's Cross to Bradford Interchange.
       
    • Coaches replace trains between:
      • Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street
      • Eaglescliffe and Middlesborough.
       

    Monday 31 August

    Normal Monday service except all day engineering work:

    • Virgin Trains East Coast will run a reduced service between West Yorkshire and London, with some journeys operating to and from Peterborough or Doncaster only.
    • Grand Central will not run the following journeys:
      • 0655 Bradford Interchange to London King's Cross
      • 1048 London King's Cross to Bradford Interchange.
       
    • Coaches replace trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street.
