South Kirklees Bus Review

Metro is reviewing the bus services it supports in the South Kirklees / Huddersfield area.

Consultation on our proposed changes ran from Thursday 23 February until Wednesday 4 April 2012 and drop-in events were held across the area. We will use your comments to help finalise the new network and issue tender documents to bus operators by late June. Contracts will be awarded in late summer, with the new network in place by the end of October 2012.

Most bus services in the South Kirklees Area are operated commercially and will not be affected by Metro’s review.

South Kirklees is served by a number of core bus services (read more about the South Kirklees core routes)
