Countywide Metrocard

Every employee is given a free countywide bus & rail Metrocard (Zones 1 - 5 only) which entitles you to unlimited free travel on the bus and train within West Yorkshire.

Company Pension Scheme

Metro offers membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme to all employees. This is a final salary pension scheme and benefits are based upon length of membership.

Holidays

You get 28 days annual holiday entitlement each year, in addition to bank holidays. Holiday entitlement increases to 30 days after 5 years service and to 32 days after 10 years service. You can also purchase additional holidays by sacrificing your equivalent salary.

Flexitime

Metro operates a flexitime system for most office-based staff which enables you to vary working hours in accordance with the business requirements of the organisation.

Health and Wellbeing

Metro promotes health and wellbeing through a number of different initiatives. We provide an Employee Assistance Programme which offers a confidential counselling and assistance service to all employees.
