A proposal of LTP3 (Local
Transport Plan 3) is to develop a network of Transport Hubs on the
core bus network to improve interchange between different modes of
travel (i.e. bus, cycling, walking, taxi, car and rail where
appropriate). A provisional list of 140 potential transport hub
locations has been identified.
Metro requires two students over the summer period to review
potential Transport Hub sites. It will be your role to audit the
sites, producing photographic and checklist records to identify
existing provision at these sites, and any gaps in services and
facilities. You will also be involved in categorising the sites and
the development of suggested improvements.
Candidates will be expected to have a flexible, professional
approach, to be able to work on their own initiative with minimum
supervision, and to have a good geographical knowledge of West
Yorkshire.
Completed application forms should be returned by noon
on Wednesday 9 May 2012
