Car sharing

Car sharing is encompassed within all Metro's smarter travel choices initiatives. www.wycarshare.com was launched in August 2011 and is a free car-sharing service for anyone living in and around West Yorkshire.

It incorporates existing car-share schemes from Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield, helping people find the right “match” for their journey. Shared journey costs, or ”half price fuel”, is usually a banner that catches the eye and of course car sharing eases congestion.
