Dewsbury 10K road race - Dewsbury Ring Road and Bradford Road (Kirklees)
Services 126, 127, 202, 203, 212, 229, 268, 278, 282 and 283
On Sunday 5 February, the Dewsbury 10K road race will take place.
Dewsbury Ring Road will be affected from 7am until midday. Bradford Road between Birstall Smithies and Dewsbury will be affected from 8.50am until 10.20am.
Buses will be unable to serve Long Causeway and will divert around the ring road at Long Causeway and proceed to radial roads.
Buses along Bradford Road will not be diverted but delays will occur.
Fenay Bridge - Rowley Lane (Kirklees)
Service 80
From Monday 30 January for three weeks, Rowley Lane will be closed one way from Penistone Road towards Lepton due to roadworks.
Service 80 will divert via Penistone Road and Station Road towards Huddersfield. Buses towards Clayton West will operate normally.
Gamble Hill Drive (Leeds) closed until end of March
Services 5 & 80
Gamble Hill Drive will be closed between Henconner Lane and Gamble Hill Close for highway works between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday, until Friday 30 March.
Services 5 and 80 will be diverted via Queensthorpe Avenue.
Halifax - Orange Street (towards Halifax)
Orange Street inbound to Halifax will be closed to all traffic from Monday 9 January.
There are no changes to bus stops but service disruptions are expected as this is a major through-road. Alternative routes will be through Pellon Road and via Dean Clough.
The road will be closed for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Harehills - Lupton Avenue (Leeds)
Services 61 and 86A
On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February, all services will divert from Lupton Avenue via Hudson Road, Compton Road to Harehills Lane and then as normal due to roadworks.
Harehills - Roseville Road (Leeds)
Services 98, 99 and X98
On Monday 6 February, Roseville Road between Grant Avenue and Roundhay Road will be closed due to road works.
Buses will divert via Roundhay Road, Barrack Road and then as normal in both directions.
Huddersfield Town Centre - Colne Road (Kirklees)
Services 306, 307, 308, 312 and 319
From Wednesday 11 January for 4 weeks, Colne Road will be closed one way between Queen Street South and Chapel Hill.
Buses travelling towards Newsome will operate normally. Buses travelling towards Huddersfield will operate via Queen Street South.
Lepton, Rowley Lane (Kirklees)
Services 231, 232 & 241
Rowley Lane will be closed between Wakefield Road and the Sun Inn, in that direction only, until further notice.
- Services 231 & 232 will run direct via Wakefield Road
- Service 241 will run via Wakefield Road and Greaves House Terrace.
A temporary stop will be provided on Wakefield Road near the junction with Rowley Lane.
Buses from Lepton towards Wakefield Road will be able to operate normally.
Lindley - Thorncliffe Street (Kirklees)
Services 343, 368, 371, 372 and 501
From Monday 9 January for 5 weeks, services 343, 368, 371 and 501 will use a temporary stop on Lidget Street due to roadworks.
Service 372 will terminate at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and returning via Thornhill Road and Occupation Lane.
Kippax - Station Road/Butt Hill (Leeds)
Services 163, 166, 173, 174 and 175
For seven days from Thursday 9 February between 0930 and 1530 hours, services on most days will divert from Butt Hill via Brigshaw Lane, Preston Lane to the bottom of Berry Lane and then as normal to Castleford due to road works.
There will be occasions when Butt Hill/Brigshaw Lane junction will be closed. Alternative diversions will be confirmed later.
Seacroft - Boggart Hill Drive (Leeds)
Services 49, 50 and 50A
From Monday 30 January until Wednesday 8 February between 9.30am and 5pm, Boggart Hill Drive will be closed between Kentmere Avenue and Barncroft Road due to roadworks.
Service 49 will divert via Kentmere Gate to Kentmere Avenue and then as normal. Service 50 will operate as service 50A via Asket Avenue.
Stanley – Lake Lock Road (Wakefield)
Services 444, 445, 446
From Monday 30 January, Lake Lock Road will be closed between Lime Pit Lane and Orchard Avenue. This closure will last until 21 April.
Full details are as follows:
Service 444: will operate from Pinderfields Hospital via Bar Lane, Ouchthorpe Lane and Rooks Nest Road to Stanley Lane Ends and then via Lime Pit Lane, Aberford Road and Lake lock Road to Lee Moor Road. Passengers will not be picked up or set down on the diversionary route between Pinderfields Hospital and Stanley Lane Ends. On Lime Pit Lane, buses towards Wakefield will be travelling up Lime Pit Lane from Aberford Road towards Stanley Lane Ends; buses towards Leeds will be travelling from Stanley Lane Ends towards Aberford Road ie. in the opposite direction to its normal route.
Service 445: One of the current Monday to Saturday daytime journeys each hour on Service 444 will be renumbered 445 and will operate via normal 444 route, continuing along Aberford Road to Lake Lock Road and then via Lee Moor Road. Stanley village will not be served. Service 445 will observe bus stops on Lake Lock Road between Aberford Road and Lee Moor Road normally served by service 446.
Service 446: Willoperate its normal route as far as Stanley Lane Ends then via Lime Pit Lane and Aberford Road to resume normal route. It will not serve stops on Lime Pit Lane.
Wakefield City Centre - Northgate Wakefield)
Services 100, 101 and 103
From Sunday 15 January until Sunday 19 February, buses will operate via Marsh Way to and from the bus station due to roadworks on Northgate.
