Rail Stations

There are 67 rail stations on the West Yorkshire network, including Glasshoughton, opened in February 2005.

There are 67 MetroTrain stations in West Yorkshire, some served by a mix of long distance and local services.

All rail stations are owned by Network Rail with most leased to the appropriate train operating company.  Leeds station is a Network Rail Major Station managed and operated directly by Network Rail. All but three of the remaining stations in West Yorkshire are leased and maintained by Northern. Wakefield Westgate is operated by National Express East Coast, while Huddersfield and Dewsbury stations are operated by First TransPennine Express.
