About the Senior Pass

A Metro Senior Pass is available to all those of pensionable age in West Yorksire, and gives travel benefits within the county and across the UK. Click below to find out more.

Free, off-peak bus travel throughout England.
Half-fare, off-peak train travel within West Yorkshire (only for West Yorkshire residents).

You can also apply for your first Senior Pass by visiting a bus station travel centre, First Travel Shop in Leeds, or Leeds Visitor Centre (in Leeds railway station).

Renewals can only by done online at the moment. Later in the year you will be able to renew your Senior Pass on the telephone via MetroLine, or in person at one of our bus station travel centres.

Q. When can I renew my Senior Pass?

A. If it's due to expire March 2013 - renew online from 10 September 2012. If it expires from 1 April 2013 renew online from 90 days before its expiry date

If your Senior Pass is due to expire, you can renew it online. You will need:

Name, address, date of birth

Existing Senior Pass number

Renew your pass

Lost, stolen or damaged pass? To order a replacement you need:

Your account login details

Debit/credit card to pay £5 replacement fee

Applying for your first Pass?
If this will be your first Senior Pass, you will need:

Passport quality colour photo, saved to your computer

Valid UK drivers licence

Valid passport
