How to buy a First Bus&Rail ticket
- Ask the bus driver for First Bus&Rail
ticket, for either Dewsbury,
Leeds or Manchester.
- Children 11 years old or over will need to show a Young
Person's or Scholar's PhotoCard when purchasing tickets.
- Tickets are issued, and only valid, in a plastic wallet
- The ticket is valid for a return journey on
both the bus between the Holme Valley and Huddersfield, or Meltham
and Huddersfield, and then the train to either Dewsbury, Leeds or
Manchester.
- The ticket is only valid on TransPennine Express services and
not Northern local services.
- On the train the ticket must be shown to the conductor on
request. On the return journey to Holmfirth or Meltham the ticket
must be shown to the bus driver.
