Adult MetroDay and Family DayRover tickets, for unlimited travel all day long, throughout West Yorkshire.

Which ticket should you buy?

You can choose to travel by bus, by train, or combine bus and train.

Adult Train & Bus and Family DayRover tickets are valid after 9.30am Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and public holidays. The bus-only MetroDay ticket is valid at all times of day.

MetroDay - valid all day

MetroDay bus ticket can be bought from the bus driver and is valid on all West Yorkshire bus services at any time.

West Yorkshire Concessionary Train DayRover for one child (aged 5 to 15) or other concessionary passenger valid on trains only. Buy it at staffed rail ticket offices, or on the train if there is no staffed ticket office.	£3.10

About the ticket

MetroDay tickets are available on the bus from the driver.

All other DayRover tickets come in two forms - scratch-off or pre-dated - depending on when you want to travel.

Scratch-off tickets (Family, Train & Bus and Bus DayRovers), which are sold at bus stations and post offices, have no specific date of travel. On the day you want to use the ticket, simply scratch off the day, date and month and year and seal it with the protective overlay. Scratch-off tickets are not sold at rail outlets.
Pre-dated tickets
You can buy them on the day of use or in advance if you know when you want to travel:

Pre-dated/on the day Family, Train & Bus, Train DayRovers are available at rail stations.
Pre-dated/on the day Train DayRovers can also be bought on the train if there is no booking office open.
