Replacement Disabled or Blind Persons' Passes

What to do if you have lost your Pass, or if it is stolen or damaged.

This charge applies to Metro-issued English National Concessionary Scheme (ENCS) passes.

Lost passes

If you lose your Blind Pass, please call MetroLine (0113 245 7676) or visit your local Bus Station Travel Centre to arrange a free replacement.

If you lose your Disabled Pass, you will be charged a £5 replacement fee. You can order a replacement pass from the following places:

  • Bus Station Travel Centre
  • The First Travel Shop in Leeds
  • Leeds Visitor Centre (within Leeds Rail Station).

Travel Centre staff will confirm you are on the ENCS database before ordering your replacement pass. If you are not on the ENCS database, you will have to re-apply for your Pass.
How to apply for a Disabled or Blind Person's Pass

Can't get to a Travel Centre?

If you can't get to a Travel Centre to replace your Disabled Pass, please write to Metro with:

  • Your full name and address
  • Telephone number
  • Cheque or postal order for £5, made payable to 'Metro'

Metro, ENCS Replacement Passes, 40-50 Wellington Street, Leeds LS1 2DE.

Your replacement pass will be posted to you within 7-10 days of being ordered.

Stolen passes

If a Metro-issued ENCS pass has been stolen, report it to the police. They will give you a crime reference number, which you can take to a Travel Centre or phone MetroLine (0113 245 7676) for a replacement to be ordered. You will not be charged for this.

Damaged passes

If a Metro-issued pass is damaged, you can get a replacement free of charge by taking it to a Bus Station Travel Centre, First Travel Shop or Leeds Visitor Centre (in Leeds railway station).

Or you can post the damaged pass to us at: Metro, ENCS Replacement Passes, 40-50 Wellington Street, Leeds LS1 2DE.

Please include your name, full address and phone number.
