Children aged 5 to 10 years old pay half fare on most buses and all trains
displaying the Metro symbol in West Yorkshire, including Metro school
buses. No PhotoCard is required (unless the child looks a lot older!).
However, if your child is a regular bus-only user, School Plus is a great way to save money.
SchoolPlus MCards are valid on most West Yorkshire buses displaying the Metro logo. They can be used at most times of the day, seven days a week. That makes them better value than some operator special offer tickets, which can only be used at certain times or on certain journeys.
School Plus MCard costs £9.25 per week or £34 per month
