5-10 year olds

Anyone aged 5 to 10 pays half fare on most buses and all trains displaying the Metro symbol, including Metro school buses. No PhotoCard is required (unless the child looks a lot older!)

11-16 year olds

Anyone aged 11 to 16 pays half fare on buses and trains, when showing a Young Person's PhotoCard (otherwise they'll be asked to pay the full fare).

Students and under 22s

It is often cheaper to buy a season ticket if you're a regular user of buses and/or trains.

Students in full-time study (including mature students) and anyone under the age of 22, can buy a weekly or monthly Student Plus MetroCard, valid on most bus and train services throughout West Yorkshire. You will also need a PhotoCard, which you can buy with your season ticket.
