The English National Concessionary Pass entitles you to free, off-peak, local bus travel throughout England after 9.30am* on Mondays to Fridays and all day at weekends and bank holidays. Holders of a Blind Pass can travel in West Yorkshire at any time of the day for free.
9.30am onwards is the entitlement in West Yorkshire. The English National Scheme hours for free travel nationally are 9.30am to 11pm, times may vary outside these hours in some areas.
You cannot use the Pass on certain special services, excursions, tours, private hire vehicles, school and works contract services, and services for which you need to pre-book.

For West Yorkshire residents, the Disabled English National Concessionary Pass will also entitle you to train travel within West Yorkshire for just 35p**, after 9.30am on Mondays to Fridays and all day at weekends and public holidays. Blind pass holders are entitled to free travel at all times.
Cross boundary train travel
If you want to travel to or from points outside West Yorkshire by train, you must pay the additional fare at the start of the journey. This will normally be the full adult fare for the non-West Yorkshire section of your journey. If you do not pay for the non- West Yorkshire part of the journey prior to travel you may be charged the full adult fare for the entire journey.
Please note that fares may be combined only to and from a station at which your train makes a scheduled stop.
