Metro and Leeds City Council are planning to build a brand new town centre bus station, together with associated highway improvements in Pudsey at a total estimated cost of £3 million. This will provide new, high quality facilities, which will be in line with Metro's other modern, award-winning West Yorkshire bus stations.
In addition to enhancing Pudsey Town centre, with an attractive and eye-catching new building and improving traffic flow on Church Lane, the proposed development would also provide passengers with an improved, comfortable and enclosed waiting environment with new seating, 24-hour monitored CCTV coverage and real-time departure information.
