A £237k refurbishment scheme to improve the passenger environment inside the seven Class 155 trains (that operate within West Yorkshire) has been completed.   The scheme was jointly funded by Metro and Northern Rail.

Metro funded the interior improvements which included :

• New hard floor covering
• New dado panels and covering to the end and mid panels,
• Improvements to toilet area
• Seat overhaul
• Improvement to wheelchair areas
