Scenic journey day returns for £8
For just £8 day return, MetroCard holders* and Metro English National Concessionary Pass** holders can enjoy memorable days out by train on the Leeds or Bradford Forster Square to Settle-Carlisle and Lancaster-Morecambe rail routes.
You will need to show your valid MetroCard or Metro English National Concessionary Pass at the time of ticket purchase.
If the station ticket office is open, you should purchase your special offer ticket before starting your journey.

Special offer travel times
MetroCard holders can travel any day of the week including weekends. Metro English National Concessionary Pass (ENCP) holders can travel any time from Monday to Friday.
Metro (ENCP) holders may travel on the 0819 Morecambe and the 0849 Carlisle trains from Leeds. However, any travel before 0930 to connect with the offer will be charged at full fare.
This special offer is valid from Monday 3 November 2008 to Saturday14 February 2009, excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Engineering work is planned and will affect train services on both lines at various times during the offer period. Therefore, we advise you to check www.northernrail.org for travel disruptions before you travel, or telephone 0845 00 00 125.
