“Over 220 million bus and train journeys are made annually in West Yorkshire and Metro produces over four million timetable leaflets, booklets, maps, posters and displays every year, to help keep those passengers informed about their journeys,” explains Veronika. "That's a tremendous number of ways for companies to communicate with a very wide range of customers.

“In addition we will sell over 1 million MetroCards this year, which represents a million opportunities for companies to put their message in people’s wallets pockets and purses, on a product they use every day.

“And it’s the people of West Yorkshire who will benefit, because Metro ploughs the extra advertising revenue back in to improvements for local bus and train users.”
