Northern will be operating additional pre-Christmas Sunday shopping trains on the Penistone Line again this year.

The services, which have proven very popular in previous years, will run on Sundays from 18 November to 23 December.

Departures from Huddersfield will be at 1014 and 1414 arriving Sheffield at 1134 and 1534

Return departures from Sheffield will be at 1232 and 1632 arriving Huddersfield at 1352 and 1752.

All four trains run non-stop between Barnsley and Meadowhall.
