Held in the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate, the sixth annual show will take place on Saturday 25 October and Sunday 26 October, between 9am and 5pm on the Saturday and 9am and 4.30pm on Sunday.
According to the Yorkshire Post, the Great Yorkshire Show's 'sister' event will have sections for horses and ponies, including lead rein and first ridden classes.
"As a society our commitment to promoting country life is well known and equestrianism is an important part of that," show director Bill Cowling told the paper.
International showjumper Graham Fletcher will be on hand to conduct horsemanship masterclasses and a cookery theatre and dog agility demonstrations.
Last year's cattle and sheep classes, which were cancelled because of foot and mouth disease outbreaks, will be back on the bill this year.
