The 1960s musical Shout! will have people dancing in their seats at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford from Tuesday 13 May to Saturday 17 May.

This is the first UK tour of the groovy musical, which features some of the biggest female hits of the sixties, including Son Of A Preacher Man, These Boots Are Made For Walking, Big Spender and, of course, Lulu's Shout.

Claire Sweeney, best known for her role as Lindsey Corkhill in Brookside, leads a cast that includes Su Pollard, Shona White - who recently understudied for the lead role of the West End musical Wicked - and Donna Steele, who took the lead in the UK tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2005.

Set in a London hairdressing salon, three girls from the north head to the city in search of fame, fortune and romance.

Shout! is a great night out, both for those who were there the first time round and those who were born too late.
