A collection of international landscape photography is on display in Bradford's Cartwright Hall art gallery until Sunday 8 June.
Berlin-born Felicitas Vogler was married to renowned English abstract painter Ben Nicholson and was also a talented photographer, specialising in capturing landscapes from across the globe.
The exhibition will feature photographs taken in Europe, China, Tibet, Japan and New Zealand. Many of the pictures have never been displayed in England before.
Originally working as a writer, Vogler met Nicholson when she interviewed him and they married six weeks later. Moving to Switzerland, they divorced when Nicholson became homesick for England. Felicitas Vogler died in 2000.
Vogler's work is simple, concentrating on the beauty of uninhabited and unspoilt landscapes. Rather than embracing technological photography, she lets the natural beauty speak for itself unmodified. The Independent reported in her obituary that her favourite camera was one she found on a beach.
