Metro’s mission is “to be the driving force co-ordinating the provision and development of high quality public transport services for everybody within West Yorkshire.”
To achieve this aim, Metro relies upon the input of West Yorkshire people in the form of comments, complaints and compliments. It is through this feedback that Metro can identify where it is getting things right and areas where there is room for improvement.
Between January and March 2004, 56.9 million passenger journeys were made on buses and trains. During that period Metro received 2801 items of feedback, which indicates that 0.005% or about one in 280,000 journeys generates a comment to Metro.
