  • The West Yorkshire Rural Accessibility Partnership (WYRAP)

Stakeholder meetings take place in each of the five Districts (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield).

Members are encouraged to take a pro-active role in identifying transport problems and working in partnership to find solutions. This provides an opportunity for rural communities to raise issues with Metro.

    Aims of the partnership

    • To identify, promote and improve access to services for people living and working in rural areas of West Yorkshire.
    • To improve access to rural West Yorkshire.
    • To identify unmet service needs and their causes, and to work with all partners to develop sustainable solutions.

    Stakeholder meetings

Any individual or organisations who have an interest in rural accessibility and transport may attend stakeholder meetings.

Grant application forms and guidance packs for funding are available from meetings or online - see link below.

For dates and venues of Metro's WYRAP district stakeholder meetings or for more information please contact us on 0113 2517416 or peter.coello@wypte.gov.uk.
