Metro provides extra services to link bus and rail networks, as well as serving the more rural communities.

For passengers who have limited mobility, there are accessible services with extra features to make your journey comfortable and safe.

MetroLocal hopper bus

MetroLocal

Also known as hopper buses, MetroLocal provides buses within the community, linking shops, post offices, supermarkets and community centres where regular bus services can not serve.

West Yorkshire Rural Access to Opportunities

Metro is working in partnership with Yorkshire Forward to offer funding for projects that improve access to training and employment opportunities in rural areas. Funding opportunities are available until 31 December 2012.
