Bradford FreeCityBus

The Bradford FreeCityBus has proved popular since its launch, carrying over 100,000 passengers in its first eight weeks.

Link to larger image of the Bradford FreeCityBus routeLaunched on Monday 29 September, by Metro and Bradford Council, Bradford FreeCityBus service connects key locations around the city centre.

These include Bradford Interchange, Forster Square Rail Station, Forster Square shopping Park, Kirkgate Shopping Centre, the Bradford FreeCity Bus outside Bradford City HallOastler Centre, the National Media Museum and Library and the University of Bradford and College.

The buses run every ten minutes from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 5.30pm on Saturdays.

Bradford FreeCityBus was introduced after the huge success of similar services in Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield.

The University of Bradford, Bradford College and Sovereign Health Care have snapped up the opportunity to sponsor the new service.
