Every day Metro’s Data Collectors are out on the West Yorkshire network surveying the numbers of people travelling, the journeys they are making and the types of tickets they are using.
Although figures have dropped since the deregulation of bus services in 1986, the table below shows that people in West Yorkshire make around 200 million bus journeys every year.
