Metro is proud of its awards and achievements, which reflect the quality of services the organisation is providing.

In October 2002 Metro became one of the first 13 employers nation-wide to win a Matrix Award for the information, advice and guidance it provides to its employees to assist them in learning and work opportunities

In June 2003, Metro was named Passenger Transport Authority of the Year for the third year running at the National Transport Awards Ceremony in London.

In April 2004, Metro became the UK’s first Passenger Transport Executive to be awarded the Government's Beacon Council status .

In November 2002, Metro’s recently opened Keighley Bus station was the winner of the Transport Award at the British Council of Shopping Centres Town Centre Environment Awards.
